MCYM - Friday Night Light - Faith Life and the College Experience

On Friday, May 22, 2015, the MCYM youth gathered together for Friday Night Light (FNL), a youth gathering that reflects on life's journey in the light of faith. The focus of this gathering was on Faith Life and the College Experience. Talks were prepared and led by older MCYM youth (Lejoe Joseph, Minoy Varghese, Alena Thomas, Jessa Varghese), followed by a time of discussion through a Q&A session. We had a special guest join us for this gathering in the person of Rev. Dr. Abraham Mulamoottil, who was the founder and a principal of Mar Athanasios College For Advanced Studies, Thiruvalla (MACFAST). Rev. Dr. Abraham shared his insights from his experience as to the areas of human development to focus on as a young person in college. Both Fr. Abraham and Fr. Babu Madathilparambil concluded our gathering with evening prayer. We thank our Reverend Priests, all the youth that attended, the family of Mr. Abraham (Renjan) Varghese for hosting the gathering, and the youth that prepared the talks for a wonderful evening of fellowship.
